The Iliotibial Band Wrap includes a compression pad which provides effective, targeted compression. It is 2 inches wide and is made from UBL neoprene which is Velcro compatible and very comfortable on the skin. It is adjustable and stays in place.

Medical Definition: Inflammation of the Iliotibial Band. (The Iliotibial Band is a tough, fibrous tissue that runs from the hip to the outside of the knee).

Causes: Excessive pronation, leg length discrepancy, bowed legs, and lateral pelvic tilt may cause excessive lateral pull on the patella, resulting in patellar subluxation as well as rubbing and irritation on the outside part of the knee.

Symptoms: Pain on the lateral side of the knee or lower thigh.
