Dr. Knapp realized that in these ever challenging reimbursement times, a brace that could solve more than one bracing need would be a very helpful tool in the practitioners armamentarium.  Pre-operative / Post-operative and mild to moderate functional bracing is the goal of the Knapp hinged knee brace.  This brace was designed to meet the ever changing needs of pre and post-op care for the MCL/LCL and meniscal repairs, and might also be considered in it's longer lengths as an adjunct to patella fracture and mild/moderate ACL and/or PCL strains and sprains.  Full hinge covers allow for full sport participation.
